Can you describe your entrepreneurial journey and what inspired you to launch your business?
I bring over four decades of executive leadership, having spearheaded turnaround strategies—including the successful rescue of Amnesty International—and advising startups across various sectors. As an NLP Master Practitioner and Qualified Accountant, my expertise spans financial restructuring, operational optimisation, business development, and strategic leadership. Today, I channel that experience into coaching AI startup founders and guiding C-suite-ready leaders through ‘First Success Coach’—a program designed to help them reach their full potential and secure top executive roles. My mission is to enhance leadership development, reduce recruitment costs, and improve staff retention across organisations.
How do you stay ahead of technological advancements, and how has this influenced your business model?
I continuously leverage AI and digital tools to monitor and integrate the latest advancements in business technology. This ensures my business model remains agile, responsive, and competitive. Staying attuned to innovation enables us to pivot quickly, optimise efficiencies, and deliver cutting-edge solutions to clients.
What role does artificial intelligence play in your current operations or future strategy?
AI is integral across our operations—from generating deep sector and customer insights, to drafting tailored client proposals. It also automates repetitive tasks, such as summarising virtual meetings and documenting action plans, significantly increasing efficiency and client value delivery.

Can you share a major challenge you’ve faced and how you overcame it?
Lead generation was a core challenge early on. To overcome it, I conducted numerous VC interviews to find a strategic partner who not only delivered high-quality warm leads with proven ROI but also aligned with the core values and chemistry of First Success Coach (FSC).
What is your strategic planning and decision-making approach?
I allocate undisturbed time away from the daily grind—often in a new environment—to focus on high-level strategic planning. This helps generate creative ideas, define actionable milestones, and assess risk exposure. Decision-making is approached with thoughtful analysis of available options and long-term impact.
How do you approach leadership and cultivating a positive company culture?
My leadership philosophy is simple: “Great leaders don’t just rise—they’re developed.” As CEO, I lead by example, fostering a culture rooted in trust, inclusivity, and alignment with company values. We recruit individuals whose personal beliefs reflect this ethos, ensuring cohesion and authenticity across the team.

How do you ensure adaptability in response to changing market conditions?
Through continuous AI-powered market research and trend analysis, we maintain a proactive stance on change. This empowers us to remain nimble, seize emerging opportunities, and adjust strategies in real-time.
Can you highlight a recent innovation that has brought success to your company?
One standout initiative is offering a complimentary 30-minute virtual consultation to prospective clients. This not only adds immediate value but also allows organisations to understand how FSC can tailor leadership development to their unique challenges.
What are your long-term business objectives, and how are you working toward them?
Our vision is to position FSC as the premier coaching partner for developing C-suite-ready leaders. We’re achieving this by refining our bespoke service offerings and deepening impact across both corporate and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
