In an era where trust, sustainability, and seamless experiences define customer loyalty, iWarranty is reimagining the often-overlooked world of warranties. Founded by a former corporate finance lawyer turned tech entrepreneur, iWarranty was born from a personal frustration with outdated warranty processes—and a much deeper desire to build systems that serve people better. What began as a simple problem evolved into a bold vision: to create the world’s most intelligent, AI-powered post-purchase platform. In this interview, the founder shares her unconventional journey from law to launching a high-impact startup, her views on leadership, innovation, and adaptability, and how iWarranty is transforming legacy systems into smart, scalable solutions for a more sustainable and connected future.
Can you describe your entrepreneurial journey and the motivation behind starting your business?
Thank you so much for having me—it’s a privilege to share the story behind iWarranty and the vision that drives us forward.
My entrepreneurial journey has been anything but linear—it’s been a bold, unpredictable adventure, rooted in purpose and driven by a deep desire to create meaningful change. I never set out to become a founder. I began my career as a corporate finance lawyer and spent 15 years working with three exceptional global law firms in London. Early in my legal career, I had the privilege of working as an associate to the Hon. Sir Laurence Street—a true pioneer in the legal world. He profoundly shaped my perspective, teaching me the power of human-centric systems and the enduring value of humility, humanity, and intellectual freedom.
While advising major global institutions, I often found myself asking: What’s the legacy I’m leaving behind? Am I contributing to something that truly matters to the next generation? That question stayed with me—and eventually pushed me beyond the world of transactional law. I left practice, pursued a PhD focused on systemic risk and macro-prudential regulation, and leaned into academia and research, always in search of something more purposeful.
That search eventually led me to a very personal frustration—missing out on a warranty claim due to an outdated, paper-heavy system. It sounds simple, even trivial. But that moment became the spark. It opened my eyes to how broken the post-purchase experience truly is—not just for consumers like me, but for businesses trying to serve their customers in a modern world.
And that was the beginning of iWarranty.
I envisioned a future where warranties are no longer forgotten fine print—but a meaningful, intelligent touchpoint between brands and their customers. A system that works effortlessly in the background, powered by automation and AI, supporting not just efficiency but trust, long-term loyalty and sustainability.
How do you stay ahead of technological advancements in your industry, and how has this impacted your business model?
At iWarranty, staying ahead of technological advancement isn’t just a priority—it’s embedded in our DNA. Our team includes PhDs in AI, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, and Robotics, alongside seasoned tech leaders from the gaming industry. Together, we embody a relentless drive to innovate.
We stay at the forefront through continuous research, a global outlook on emerging tech trends, and a deeply agile mindset. Our roadmap isn’t built for today—it’s designed for what’s next.
Customer collaboration plays a central role in our innovation cycle. By deeply understanding their evolving needs and anticipating industry shifts, we’re able to design solutions that solve real-world problems—not just technical ones. While our core lies in warranty management, we take inspiration from adjacent spaces like advanced manufacturing, InsurTech, and frontier technologies to keep our platform robust, scalable, and future-ready.
This forward-thinking approach ensures iWarranty remains agile, responsive, and consistently ahead of the curve—delivering meaningful, measurable value to every customer we serve.

What role does artificial intelligence play in your current operations or future plans?
AI is central to everything we do at iWarranty. It’s not just a feature—it’s the engine that drives smarter, faster, and more efficient warranty experiences for both businesses and consumers.
Today, AI powers several core components of our platform:
- Automated Claims Processing: AI streamlines claim reviews, detects anomalies, and accelerates approvals—cutting down manual effort while improving speed and accuracy.
- Fraud Detection: Our machine learning models identify suspicious patterns using historical data, helping protect brands and insurers from unnecessary risk.
- Predictive Analytics: AI uncovers product failure trends, enabling manufacturers to improve quality, reduce returns, and deliver more proactive service.
- Multilingual Support: AI-powered language tools allow us to support users globally in their native languages—ensuring a seamless experience across regions.
By leveraging AI, iWarranty is transforming warranty management into a seamless, intelligent, and data-driven process that benefits manufacturers, retailers, insurers, and consumers alike.
How do you approach strategic planning and decision-making in your organization?
For me, strategic planning is never a static document—it’s a dynamic, evolving process rooted in deep listening, clear purpose, and bold yet thoughtful execution. As a leader, I believe in setting a strong vision—but building the path forward collaboratively. I deliberately surround myself with people who challenge assumptions, bring diverse perspectives, and aren’t afraid to question the status quo—and I truly listen.
At iWarranty, our strategy is grounded in our mission. Every decision—whether it’s about product, partnerships, or growth—is filtered through a single lens: Does this help us build a smarter, more inclusive, and impactful future for both businesses and consumers?
Leading a startup is fundamentally different from leading an established organisation. As a founder, I’ve learned to be comfortable making decisions with imperfect information. Waiting for complete data often means missing the moment. Instead, I rely on a combination of intuition, scenario planning, and real-time feedback. I embrace the reality that failure is part of innovation—and progress.
Some of our most transformative breakthroughs haven’t come from spreadsheets or forecasts, but from unfiltered, human conversations—with customers, team members, or even critics. That’s why I create space for reflection, curiosity, and open dialogue—because meaningful strategy is never created in isolation.
Above all, I lead with heart and clarity. Strategic planning isn’t just about what we do—it’s about why it matters, and who we bring along the journey. That inclusive, purpose-driven mindset is what fuels our momentum—and gives us the resilience to adapt, grow, and lead through uncertainty.
What is your approach to leadership and fostering a positive company culture?
In today’s fast-paced world—shaped by evolving technologies, shifting geopolitical landscapes, the rise of digital-first consumers, and a new generation of talent—leadership itself is being redefined. Workplace expectations are changing, and we are no longer leading through occasional disruption, but through constant transformation. In this environment, leadership must be adaptive, agile, and profoundly human.
As a new-age leader, I don’t just anticipate change—I embrace it and leverage it to create value. I lead with vision through complexity, ambiguity, and volatility. In a scale-up environment where strategies are fluid and certainty is rare, my ability to unlearn is just as vital as my ability to learn. Experience and expertise alone are no longer enough. I stay curious, open to dissenting viewpoints, and comfortable with the discomfort of the unknown.
I believe in decentralised decision-making, promote psychological safety, and foster a culture of continuous learning. I share both the wins and the challenges with my team—because I trust them. I encourage open, ego-free dialogue—no silos, just honest conversations that help us grow and move forward together.
Culturally, we celebrate progress over perfection, curiosity over caution, and kindness over competition. We are a performance-driven company, but never at the expense of well-being. I want people to grow with the company—not just professionally, but personally.
At the end of the day, I lead with purpose and empathy. Because when people feel empowered, connected, and inspired, they don’t just build great products—they build a movement. And that’s exactly what we’re doing at iWarranty. Together.
How do you keep your business adaptable to market changes?
Adaptability is at the core of how we operate at iWarranty. We stay closely connected to our customers, deeply listen to their evolving needs, and move quickly to respond with solutions that matter. We learn fast, remain curious, and stay open to what’s possible—even if it challenges our original assumptions.
Our lean, agile structure allows us to pivot with purpose—not reactively, but strategically. We don’t just watch the market—we actively track and anticipate shifts, from right-to-repair legislation and sustainability mandates to emerging conversations around AI ethics.
We’re not just adapting to change—we’re participating in shaping it. That mindset keeps us responsive, relevant, and ready for what’s next.
Can you discuss a recent innovation or project that has been particularly successful for your company?
Our biggest breakthrough has been launching iWarranty’s AI-powered, multi-tenant warranty platform—now used by over 300 dealerships and brands.
It automates claims, reduces operational friction, and delivers a seamless post-purchase experience. But more than that, it’s changing how companies think about after-sales—turning what was once a pain point into a competitive advantage.
This isn’t just a tech product. It’s a new category of value creation.
What are your long-term goals for your business, and how are you working towards achieving them?
At iWarranty, we’re not just building a successful company—we’re reshaping an entire category. Our long-term goal is clear: to become the world’s leading warranty and after-sales platform. But we’re not chasing unicorn status for the sake of valuation—we’re building a unicorn in impact. A company that transforms lives, redefines broken systems, and contributes meaningfully to a more sustainable planet.
Warranty and after-sales care may not sound glamorous, but it affects all of us. It’s the space where trust is tested, loyalty is earned—or lost—and where businesses can either generate waste or drive meaningful change. That’s why our mission is bold and deeply important.
We’re here to disrupt outdated systems, digitize and humanize the post-purchase experience, and deliver something better—for consumers, for businesses, and for the planet.
What advice would you give to emerging entrepreneurs in your industry?
Entrepreneurship isn’t for the faint-hearted—but if you feel a fire to solve a real problem, challenge the status quo, and create lasting impact—lean into it. Especially to women: the world needs your vision, your voice, and your courage more than ever.
This journey is not a shortcut to success. It’s unpredictable, often uncomfortable—but if you’re led by purpose, it can be the most rewarding adventure of your life.
- Begin with why. Purpose will carry you through the highs and lows.
- Surround yourself with believers—especially when you doubt yourself.
- Embrace the unknown—it’s where the magic happens.
- And don’t wait for permission. If you see a problem and believe you can solve it—start. Now.
The world doesn’t need more perfect businesses—it needs bold, brave builders.
